Inner Axis deals directly with stress, anxiety and sleeplessness. It produces a level of fitness that makes you feel better, sleep better and therefore function at a higher level in your relationships, life and work. 

This breath-based yoga movement and mindfulness practice was developed by global wellbeing & yoga teacher, speaker and author Max Strom. His method combines Hatha Yoga, Qi-Gong and mindfulness. These simple and accessible techniques enable deep transformation and meaning for everyone; all ages, abilities and walks of life. All fitness levels are welcome and will feel at home. It is for everyone who desires inner health as well as physical health.

You will learn breath-­based movements, inspiring visualizations and immediately effective relaxation techniques which are easy to practice at home.

The result is best described by an ancient carriage allegory taken from both the Yoga and Sufi traditions:

The story explains that the carriage (representing the body) is in terrible disrepair, the horses (referring to our emotions) are half-wild, the driver (mind) is unfocused and drunk and the passenger (soul / heart) – who is, in fact royalty – is asleep, dreaming he / she is a peasant. Inner Axis aims to repair the carriage (body), tames the horses (emotions), sobers and focuses the driver (mind) and ultimately reawakens the passenger (soul). The soul then remembers his / her true purpose and instructs the driver on which route to take to his / her ultimate destination.
